To apply, candidates must complete the new Z83 form, which can be obtained from any Public Service office or downloaded from www.dpsa.gov.za/documents. A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae is also required. It’s important to note that applicants should not submit any copies, certified copies, attachments, proof, certificates, ID, driver’s license, or qualifications with their application. Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit certified copies. If you haven’t been contacted within three months after the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful.
Candidates will undergo Personnel Suitability Checks, including reference checks and verification of identity, qualifications, criminal records, and employment history.
The selected candidate will also undergo medical surveillance as mandated by the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Act 5/1993. The department prioritizes employment equity and diversity in its recruitment process, guided by the principles of the Employment Equity Act.
