Purpose of the Role
The primary role of the Bus Driver is to transport passengers safely within Tshwane’s public transport network, ensuring adherence to schedules, routes, and safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education: Grade 10 or equivalent
- Driving Experience: Proficiency with heavy vehicles is essential
- Licensing:
- Code C, EC1(04), EC, or C1(04) driver’s license
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
- Other Requirements:
- No criminal record
- Physically fit and in good health
- Availability for shift work, including weekends and overtime
