Role Overview: Relationship Banker – Merchant Services
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and optimize strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and providing tailored banking solutions.
- Sales and Promotion: Actively promote and sell Capitec’s business banking and merchant products to both existing and new clients.
- Consultative Engagement: Deliver exceptional service by engaging with clients, identifying opportunities, and offering strategic solutions to meet their requirements.
- Profitability Contribution: Support Business Bank’s profitability goals by driving sales, cross-selling, and upselling relevant products and services.
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 National Certificate or Vocational Qualification.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
Experience
- Proven track record with 2–3 years of experience in:
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Identifying and capitalizing on sales or business opportunities.
- Providing tailored solutions based on client needs.
- Prior experience in the FMCG, retail, or banking sectors is highly desirable.
