Job Description
The role of a Shop Assistant/Cashier involves:
- Providing top-tier customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handling till point transactions, including cash and card payments, refunds, and lay-bys.
- Assisting with merchandising, stock replenishment, and ensuring products are correctly displayed.
- Supporting housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Managing risks by following company policies, participating in stock takes, and reporting any suspicious activities.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication skills (English proficiency essential; additional languages advantageous).
- High energy levels, self-motivation, and a passion for achieving targets.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented and dynamic environment.
Experience:
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities

- Balance tills and report discrepancies.

Risk Management:
- Tag products as per company standards.
- Participate in stock takes and monitor store activities to prevent theft.
