Position Overview: Administrator
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join our dynamic Isango Lethemba TB Research Unit. This position is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of our research activities and requires a candidate who excels in administrative support, financial record management, and participant engagement.
Key Responsibilities of the Administrator
- General Administrative Support: Execute tasks such as printing, copying, and document binding efficiently.
- Office Management: Maintain an organized, clean, and professional workspace to foster productivity.
- Compliance and Adherence: Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal processes diligently.
- Participant Reimbursement Processing: Handle reimbursements via cash or e-wallets, ensuring accurate and prompt payment.
- Petty Cash Management: Oversee requisition, distribution, and reconciliation of petty cash with transparency and accuracy.
- Financial Record Keeping: Ensure all financial transactions are logged meticulously and authorized as required.
- Logistical Coordination: Provide support for meetings, workshops, and research events to ensure smooth execution.
- Communication Management: Manage incoming correspondence, directing inquiries to appropriate personnel promptly.
- Data Management: Maintain comprehensive records, files, and databases integral to research operations.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with research staff to address operational requirements effectively.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Educational Background: Matric certificate or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Administrative Experience: Prior experience in administrative roles, especially within research or healthcare sectors, is preferred.
