Job Overview– Cash Centre Tellers
G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated cash management services, is hiring four (4) Cash Centre Tellers at our Port Elizabeth operations.
As a Cash Centre Teller, you will be responsible for counting, balancing, and reconciling customer cash according to our processing procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, results-driven, and committed to maintaining company policies while ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities – Cash Centre Tellers
🔹 Cash Handling & Processing
- Receive, count, balance, pack, and reconcile cash deposits.
- Ensure all customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and sort bulk cash/coin deposits from banks and customers.
- Balance daily transactions and report discrepancies.
- Operate high-speed cash processing equipment.
🔹 Security & Compliance
- Maintain strict adherence to company policies and security protocols.
- Handle cash and valuables with accuracy and accountability.
- Wear protective clothing and follow safety guidelines at all times.
- Report safety incidents and participate in workplace safety programs.
🔹 Additional Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing customer cash and coin orders.
- Support cross-training across different cash processing functions.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends, if required.

Ideal Candidate Profile – Cash Centre Tellers
🎓 Qualification & Experience
- Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accounting.
- 1 – 3 years of teller or cash-handling experience (preferred).
- Strong understanding of financial principles.
💡 Skills & Competencies
- Computer literacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving cash containers/trolleys.
- Security-conscious mindset.
