Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain laboratory work and ensure all tasks meet specific requirements and expectations.
- Keep the laboratory area clean and organized, including removing waste and litter.
- Adhere to safety and health regulations, ensuring a safe environment for all staff and clients.
- Assist in soil preparation and analysis tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance work within the laboratory setting.
- Work with a variety of soil types and materials.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum Education: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
- A friendly and professional personality, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and regulations.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Remuneration:
The position offers a competitive remuneration package aligned with the responsibilities and requirements of the role. Appointment will be contingent on a successful security clearance, as well as competency and leadership assessments.
The Agricultural Research Council follows the Employment Equity Act and will prioritize candidates from designated groups as per the ARC Employment Equity Plan.
