Are you passionate about food service and looking for an exciting opportunity in the Department of Defence? The Military Academy Saldanha is currently hiring a dedicated Food Service Aid II to join their team and contribute to providing high–quality food services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, storing, and distributing food supplies.
- Prepare and produce a variety of normal and therapeutic diets.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
- Operate heavy-duty cleaning and cooking equipment.
- Follow occupational health and safety regulations.
- Work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.

Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Grade 2-9 or ABET Level 1-4/ Standard 2-7.
- Skills: Basic literacy and numeracy skills, knowledge of hygiene practices.
- Abilities: Ability to read recipes, prepare food, and handle kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts and overtime.
