Job Description
Job Objectives:
- Efficiently complete all operational tasks at the point of sale.
- Maintain accuracy in scanning goods, processing payments, and applying clubcard benefits.
- Ensure safe handling of cash at all times.
- Actively promote Clicks’ clubcard to meet participation targets and sign up new members.
- Inform customers about promotions and specials to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by being a visible and approachable brand ambassador.
- Execute general cleaning and merchandising tasks in line with store standards.
- Uphold and promote the company’s values to support Clicks’ goal of being the leading health and beauty retailer.
- Stay updated on promotions, products, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
Knowledge and Skills : Shop Assistant Cashier
Knowledge:
- Basic mathematical calculations.
- Retail and FMCG experience, including merchandising and promotional concepts.
- Understanding of stock management procedures.
