Job Purpose
As an Administrative Officer, your primary role will be to manage vendor payments and handle administrative tasks efficiently. You will work closely with departments and vendors to ensure the City of Tshwane’s payment processes are smooth, timely, and compliant with legal regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Payment Management: Process and verify payments for vendors to ensure accurate and timely disbursements.
- Communication: Liaise with various departments and vendors to address any discrepancies or issues with payments.
- Reconciliation: Conduct reconciliations between vendor accounts and the City of Tshwane’s financial records to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks, including record-keeping, filing, and maintaining organized payment documentation.
