The Western Cape Department of Health is calling for applications for Sessional Vacancies at various centers in the department.

The closing date for applications is 9 February 2024.

Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for the available positions by following these instructions: – Complete the Z83 form, available from any Government department or www.westerncape.gov.za. The form should clearly indicate the position applied for, the name and date of the publication, and must be accompanied by a comprehensive CV. – Submit a separate application form for each post to the address specified in the advertisement.

Faxed or e-mailed applications will not be accepted.

– Ensure that applications are submitted on or before the closing date, as late applications will not be considered.

– Shortlisted candidates will be required to bring recently certified copies of their identification document, driver’s license (if applicable), qualifications, and proof of registration at relevant statutory bodies for verification purposes on the day of the interview.

– Additional competency/proficiency tests may be conducted before the final shortlist is concluded.

– Only shortlisted candidates will receive further communication from the department. If no response is received within 3 months of the closing date, the application can be considered unsuccessful.

– Applicants should be available for selection interviews as determined by the department and should note that further checks will be conducted if they are shortlisted.

These checks include security clearance,

qualification verification, criminal records, credit records, and previous employment.
