Job Overview and Location-Call Centre Agent

This permanent position is based at the company’s Head Office in Centurion, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be part of the buying department, focusing on generating leads and supporting buyers. This role requires individuals who are highly motivated and have a proven track record in customer service and sales.

Key Responsibilities of a Call Centre Agent

As a call centre agent in the buying department, you will play a crucial role in the sales process. Here are the main duties you will be expected to perform:

  • Daily Calls to Lapsed Leads: You will be responsible for making 100 calls each day to reconnect with leads that have not been followed up on recently. Your goal is to re-engage these leads and determine their current needs.
  • Lead Provision and Documentation: You will provide qualified leads to buyers as required. All interactions must be recorded accurately and promptly in the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure a smooth lead management process.
  • Discount Savings: A key target will be to save at least 75 discounts per month. You will achieve this by negotiating effectively and offering compelling reasons for customers to continue or complete their transactions.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Delivering excellent customer service is essential. This includes swiftly addressing customer queries and resolving issues to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaboration with Buyers and Managers: Working closely with buyers and other managers, you will ensure effective lead management and help optimize the sales process.
  • Transaction Analysis and Follow-up Prioritization: You will analyze each lead to maximize transaction closings and prioritize follow-ups effectively. This strategic approach will help increase overall sales performance.

  • Experience in Outbound Call Centres: Previous experience in an outbound call centre is highly desirable. Candidates with at least two years of experience in customer service will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits-Call Centre Agent

This position offers a competitive basic salary of R7500 per month. In addition, there is potential for excellent commission based on performance. The company also provides a provident fund, along with a company phone and laptop to assist with your duties.

Working Hours

The working hours for this position are structured as follows:

  • Weekdays: You will work shifts from Monday to Friday. The shifts are either from 08:00 to 17:00 or 09:00 to 18:00.
  • Weekends: You will be required to work every second Saturday and one Sunday each month. Weekend shifts are 5 hours long, from 10:00 to 14:00.

Location and Transport Requirements

This position is based at the company’s Head Office in Centurion, Gauteng. Candidates must have their own reliable transport to commute to the office.
