Requirements:

– Grade 12 certificate

– Minimum of 2 years working experience as a cleaner in a health facility/environment

– Good verbal and written communication skills – Good interpersonal skills and productivity

– Knowledge of OHS, Infection Control, and Waste Management

– Ability to read and write – Ability to work under pressure

– Ability to work in a team

Duties:

– Cleaning designated areas such as windows, walls, basins, sinks, lockers, kitchen, and bathroom

– Sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors and designated areas

– Providing routine general work and compliance services

– Opening windows daily for hygiene and infection control purposes

– Damp and dry dusting – Emptying dustbins in all designated areas

– Assessing and updating toilets cleaning checklist

– Reporting safety and hazardous treats

– Providing routine maintenance services

– Cleaning and taking care of cleaning equipment

– Reporting electrical or mechanical malfunctions of cleaning machines and equipment
