Job Purpose:
Conducting cleaning activities for Airlink’s facilities and aircraft in compliance with relevant aircraft maintenance and cleaning procedures.
Requirements:
– Minimum education:
Grade 12 certificate or equivalent N4
– Experience in cleaning/aviation
– Understanding of the cleaning environment
– Familiarity with Human Factors, Hazardous Chemicals, Occupational Health & Safety Induction, and IQSMS Reporting System
– Knowledge of company policies and procedures
– Willingness to work on a shift basis
– Proficiency in English communication
– Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
– Capability to work under pressure and without supervision
– Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
– Flexibility, attention to detail, and customer care
– Basic numeracy, crisis responsiveness, and time management
Responsibilities:
– Cleaning Airlink’s facilities and aircraft fleet according to specified standards and schedules
– Completion of required daily paperwork
– Maintaining good housekeeping
– Timely request for consumables and equipment return
– Reporting damaged equipment to the Team Leader
– Collaborating with the Team Leader to execute daily tasks
– Collection and proper disposal of waste streams
– Performing gardening services as required
– Adhering to instructions from company supervisors and managers
– Acting in alignment with the company’s mission
– Adherence to Company Standards and Occupational Health and Safety Standards
– Participation in necessary training
– Assisting with additional tasks within the job description
