Job Title: Learning & Development Intern
Location: Midrand, Gauteng
Department: Learning & Development (L&D)
Reporting To: L&D Specialist
Key Purpose of the Program
The Coca-Cola Learnership Program is designed to support the Learning & Development (L&D) department’s strategic goals. This includes engaging with stakeholders, implementing competency development strategies, and fostering professional skills in the corporate environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Learning & Development Support
- Assist in the implementation of Learning & Development processes, frameworks, and tools to ensure business-wide standardization.
- Provide essential L&D support for various corporate projects.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure seamless learning experiences.


Competence Development
- Implement in-country learning solutions in collaboration with L&D specialists.
- Drive the completion of training and development programs aligned with Coca-Cola’s goals.
- Support the Competency Assessment Process (CAP) and evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of learning initiatives.
- Develop and design training materials to enhance employee skill sets.

Governance and Compliance
- Monitor and track progress on all assigned L&D initiatives to ensure success.
- Maintain adherence to legal and governance requirements in all learning and development aspects.
- Provide accurate and timely reports based on learning and development metrics.
- Uphold a culture of excellent service and professional integrity within the organization.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
Educational Requirements
- Relevant HR Degree or Diploma.
- ODETDP (Occupational Directed Education and Training Program) Practitioner registration is a plus.
Professional Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Learning & Development, including training material design and facilitation.
- Experience in rolling out large business projects nationwide.
- eLearning design and development experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (Intermediate to Advanced level).
- Familiarity with LMS365 is beneficial.
