Key Responsibilities:
✔ Deliver Outstanding Customer Service – Engage with customers professionally and efficiently to ensure a positive experience.
✔ Handle Customer Inquiries – Respond to questions, resolve concerns, and provide product/service information with accuracy and urgency.
✔ Manage Calls and Escalations – Ensure customer issues are documented, addressed, and resolved efficiently.
✔ Proactively Solve Problems – Identify customer pain points and work towards quick and effective solutions.
✔ Uphold ShopRite’s Standards – Follow company policies, procedures, and service excellence guidelines.
✔ Team Collaboration – Support teammates with knowledge sharing and problem-solving where necessary.
✔ Stay Updated – Keep up with product changes, promotions, and service guidelines to provide the most accurate information.
Working Hours:
- 45-hour workweek
- Scheduled shifts across Monday to Sunday, including public holidays
- Shift-based work within legal and company requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
✅ Essential: Grade 12 / Matric
✅ Advantageous: Diploma/Degree in Communications or a related field
Experience:
✅ Essential: 5+ years in a customer service role
✅ Preferred: Experience in a retail or contact centre environment
