Job Summary: A Key Role in Virtual Distribution

The Customer Service Officer is integral to supporting Absa’s Virtual Advisors and their clients. This position ensures the seamless delivery of services while contributing to the retention and growth of the client base. Our team focuses on maintaining trust and providing expert solutions in a virtual distribution environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Retention and Re-Intermediation: Proactively assist with the retention of clients from the Exit campaign by reconnecting them with appropriate advisory services.
  • Broker Note Management: Accurately conclude broker notes on behalf of Virtual Advisors, ensuring consistent revenue streams and reducing orphaned client accounts.
  • Will Collection Coordination: Facilitate the arrangement and collection of drafted wills, ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Investment Policy Retention: Promote the retention of maturing investment policies by reminding and coordinating with advisors for reinvestment opportunities.
  • Ad-Hoc Initiatives: Provide agile support for new business initiatives, helping the organization adapt to emerging opportunities.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates are required to hold a Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies. This qualification underpins the skills necessary to excel in this client-facing role.
