🔍 Main Purpose of the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing clinical and research study data across various studies and trials conducted by PHRU Bara. The role includes managing data integrity, ensuring timely entry, resolving data queries, and preparing accurate reports for the research team.

📋 Key Performance Areas : Data Capturer
- Capture research and survey data accurately into electronic systems such as REDCap and RAVE.
- Generate regular statistical and summary reports.
- Ensure data compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Data Quality Management Plans (DQMPs).
- Participate in ongoing data management and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.
- Safeguard all confidential patient and research data in line with ethical standards.
- Provide structured reports to the Data Manager, Study Coordinator, and Data Coordinator.
- Assist in preparing participant files aligned with protocol visit requirements.
- Maintain a secure and organized digital filing system of Case Report Forms (CRFs) and participant records.
🎓 Minimum Education and Training Requirements
- Matric certificate (Grade 12)
- Certificate or Diploma in Office Management or related field
💼 Required Work Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a data capturing role
- At least 1 year of clinical trial experience
- Working knowledge of data capture platforms such as:
- REDCap
- RAVE
- Other electronic data systems

- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with clinical protocols and regulatory compliance
- Sound understanding of GCP and research ethics
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Valid South African Driver’s License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive data
