Department of Health seeks a Human Resource Officer for the Gauteng Province

Minimum Requirements:
– Grade 12 certificate with National Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management / Public Management or equivalent qualification.
– At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resource environment, preferably in a hospital setting.
– PERSAL introduction certificate required.
– Proficiency in Public Service Act and Regulations, collective agreements, OSD requirements, Code of Conduct, and other relevant public service guidelines.
– Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
– Knowledge of recruitment processes, leave management, PILIR, and service benefits.
Duties include:
– Supervising staff.
– Managing Salaries and Personnel Administration on the PERSAL System.
– Assisting in managing reports.
– Overseeing recruitment and selection processes.
– Managing workforce planning.
– Ensuring compliance with HR delegations.
– Providing HR reports for management.
– Attending meetings and workshops.
– Writing submission memos, reports, and presentations.
