1. Permanent Vacancy: Arrears Management Officer
- Job Type: Permanent
- Job Grade: T09
- Location: KwaZulu-Natal

- Salary: R276,454.32 – R358,839.60 per annum (includes 13th cheque)
Key Responsibilities
- Administer reminder letters and final demands for arrears.
- Monitor summons issuance and court hearings for debtors.
- Prepare legal notices for sales in execution (SIE).
- Liaise with attorneys, Town Planning, and Real Estate.
- Attend auctions, court hearings, and ratepayer interviews.
Requirements
✅ Essential:
- Grade 12 (NQF 4) with Mathematics/Accounting + Financial certificate.
- 3 years’ relevant experience in arrears/debt collection.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, municipal systems).
✅ Preferred:
- Diploma (NQF 6) in Accounting/Finance.
- 4+ years’ experience in municipal revenue management.
