Key Responsibilities
Cash Management and Reconciliations
- Communicate and follow up with allocated branches regarding:
- Monthly cash orders.
- Packing schedules.
- Re-deposits for ATMs.
- Perform daily monitoring and reviews of branch data captured on the I-Cash system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Balance ATM devices on a daily basis, using advanced reconciliation techniques and tools to provide precise feedback.
- Address and resolve claims from clients, maintaining transparency and accuracy.
Client and Branch Liaison
- Act as the primary point of contact between branches and clients, managing instructions, resolving issues, and facilitating day-to-day operations.
- Log, track, and escalate branch-reported issues to the National Reconciliations Manager for timely resolution.
- Provide branch supervisors and reconciliation clerks with comprehensive training on Capitec ATM processes.

Operational Reporting
- Prepare detailed daily operations reports, covering:
- Float returns per branch.
- Cash order checks and balances.
- Redeposit confirmations.
- Monitor cash orders and highlight discrepancies during monthly cycles, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Maintain a comprehensive log of reported issues, including ATM technical malfunctions and cash order discrepancies.
- Report daily shortages and surpluses, emphasizing accuracy and prompt resolution.
Additional Duties
- Map and report new ATM rollouts to assist clients with effective cash order planning.
- Address and resolve CPC Activations, including managing stained and burnt currency notes.
- Collaborate with branch supervisors to coordinate tasks effectively, ensuring daily deadlines are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook for reporting and communication.
- Deep understanding of reconciliation processes and cash management principles.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to maintain discipline and focus under pressure.
Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent coordination and management capabilities, particularly in guiding branch supervisors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders ranging from branch tellers to senior client management.
- High level of problem-solving aptitude, enabling real–time issue resolution.

- Ability to work effectively towards daily and monthly deadlines.

Reporting and Training Duties
Daily Operations Reporting
- Submit detailed branch reconciliations and float certificates to Capitec.
- Track and report on daily cash orders, ensuring discrepancies are promptly identified and addressed.
Monthly Planning and Reporting
- Monitor monthly cash orders and provide real-time feedback on branch confirmations.
- Log all reported issues systematically, offering insights into recurring challenges for strategic resolutions.
Training and Knowledge Sharing
- Conduct regular training sessions for branch supervisors, enhancing their understanding of ATM processes and compliance requirements.
