Requirements:
– National Diploma/Degree in Food Service Management/Food and Beverage Management (3 years HET Level)
– Computer literacy – Good verbal and written communication, calculations, and computer skills
– Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
– Strong leadership and managerial skills – Proficient in report writing
– Innovative, Integrity, Enthusiasm, Passion, Professionalism, and High sense of duty
– Able to work under pressure
– Reliable – Catering skills
– Knowledge of Food Service Policies, Procedures, Acts, and Protocols – Familiarity with National Core Standards, Food Service Audits, PFMA, and Supply Chain Management Regulations
Duties:
– Manage Food Service Staff and Operations
– Ensure compliance with relevant Policies, Regulations, Acts, and Procedures
– Assist in menu planning, master orders, menu costing, and budget inputs
– Oversee stock ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing
– Ensure adherence to production procedures for meal preparation and serving
– Maintain hygiene, occupational health, and safety measures
– Optimize human resource functions and labor utilization
– Manage equipment effectively
– Provide staff training
– Assist in training Food Service and Dietetic Students

Submit a fully completed Z83 form and an updated detailed Curriculum Vitae. Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide certified copies of qualifications and other relevant documents. Foreign qualification holders must provide an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Recommended candidates may undergo medical surveillance as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Act 5/1993.
