To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Education:
- Grade 10 (minimum).
- Grade 12 (advantageous).
Driver’s License:
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is an added benefit.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (multilingual abilities preferred).
- Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks efficiently.
- Physically fit and familiar with manual labor tasks.
- Reliable, disciplined, and hardworking.
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of experience in general work related to the Electrical Section in a Local Government Authority.

As a General Worker in the Electrical Section, your duties will include:

Safety & Equipment Management:
- Safely loading and unloading supplies and equipment using appropriate tools and gloves.
Road Safety Measures:
- Placing signs to alert road users of worker presence during excavation activities.
Site Maintenance:
- Cleaning the workspace and surrounding areas using manual tools like brooms to ensure a tidy environment.
Labor Tasks:
- Carrying out labor-related tasks as instructed by the supervisor or superintendent.
Compliance:
- Adhering to supervisor directives to maintain efficiency and productivity within the section.
Ad Hoc Duties:
- Undertaking additional responsibilities as required by management.
