Job Overview: Ensuring Smooth Product Transfers
As a Driver in the Logistics department at Coca-Cola, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the safe and efficient transfer of both full and empty bottles between different depots. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the company’s products are moved smoothly across various locations, contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Operating the Vehicle: Safely driving the assigned vehicle to transfer products between depots.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly checking and maintaining the vehicle to ensure it remains in optimal working condition.
- Staffing the Vehicle: Managing the necessary staffing required for vehicle operations.
- Supervising the Vehicle: Overseeing the vehicle to ensure all processes are followed correctly.
- Vehicle Management: Taking responsibility for the vehicle, ensuring it is managed properly, including documentation and scheduling.
- SHEQ Duties: Complying with all Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications: A minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate, with a qualification level between 3 and 5.
- Driving Experience: Proven experience in driving double-axle vehicles is essential for this role.
- Valid Driver’s License: You must hold a valid driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP) and Code 14 certification.
