These driver vacancies are in the Corporate Services Department under the Physical Security & Route Inspection Branch.
The Mobile Drivers will be responsible for transporting Route Inspectors to conduct daily bus inspections. Applicants must have a Matric (Grade 12) qualification, a Code 8/EB or Code C1 driver’s license, a minimum of 5 years of driving experience, willingness to work flexible hours, and knowledge of Metrobus routes is advantageous. Key responsibilities include operating the vehicle professionally, maintaining cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle, conducting daily pre-trip inspections, reporting for shifts on time, and representing the company positively while driving.
