Requirements:
NQF Level 1 or 2 (Abet level 2 certificate or equivalent). Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and write. Must have good interpersonal skills. Knowledge of using cleaning equipment will be an advantage.
Duties:
Ensure all areas of the health establishment are kept clean, including critical areas, carry out all assigned duties, efficiently utilize resources, ensure staff adhere to Infection Prevention and Control policies and procedures, maintain and control the use of stock, equipment, and consumables, report absenteeism to the supervisor, actively promote Health and Safety, and report any breaches directly to the supervisor. Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and night duty.
