Permanent Secretary position at Rietvlei center

Job Summary:

The job involves offering professional and confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Integration, Monitoring, and Evaluation. The responsibilities include handling secretarial and administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, demonstrating typing and administrative skills, maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and loyalty.

Minimum Requirements:

– Matric or equivalent with a diploma in secretarial/administration/office management

– An advanced secretarial diploma or a recognized public relations qualification is advantageous – 5-10 years of experience as a Senior Secretary/Personnel Assistant

– Possession of a valid code EB driver’s license and successful completion of Rand Water’s K53 test

– Experience in collaborating with National Departments and Local Government

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong computer skills Primary Responsibilities:

– Manage administrative tasks and correspondence on behalf of the Head: IME

Follow up on outstanding issues for the Head:

IME – Relay messages and tasks to relevant personnel
