Requirements:
– Abet Level 4, Grade 9 certificate or equivalent
– 2-3 years experience in security environment
– Minimum Grade C security certificate
– Current registration with PSIRA
– Ability to work under pressure, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
– Report writing skills
– Knowledge of security, Labour Relations and other relevant legislation
– Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles – Knowledge of criminal procedure and fire arm control act
– Willingness to work shifts and extended hours
Duties:
– Access control
– Supervision at parking
– Restraint of violent patients
– Reporting security breaches
– Fire prevention
– Guarding and managing waiting areas
– Investigating reported matters
– Working shifts and abnormal hours
