Social auxiliary worker position available in Matzikama and Atlantis for the Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government. Grade 1 salary ranges from R174,702 to R194,808 annually, Grade 2 from R205,770 to R231,339, and Grade 3 from R244,443 to R302,757.
Requirements
include Grade 10 education, completion of a learnership for registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a social auxiliary worker, SACSSP registration, and a valid code B driving license. Grade 2 applicants need 10 years of relevant experience after SACSSP registration or completion of the 2nd academic year of a qualifying tertiary program.
Candidates must meet specific requirements depending on their grade level, including educational qualifications, registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions, and relevant work experience. Additionally, applicants must possess a valid code B driving license. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to social workers in delivering social work services, as well as performing administrative duties as needed.
