Requirements:

– Grade 12 or equivalent qualification and minimum PSIRA Grade D Certificate

– Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Security Officer

– Additional advantage: Firefighting Certificate and First Aid Certificate

Duties:

– Control access to the Dental Hospital and offices

– Follow security procedures/protocols

– Maintain record-keeping and safeguard security equipment

– Report suspicious incidents and respond to emergencies

– Ensure a safe environment for employees, patients, visitors, and students

– Check functionality of security equipment and monitor surveillance equipment

– Control keys

– Conduct security risk assessment and report breaches

– Investigate security breaches and incidents

– Complete reports and perform other security duties as delegated by supervisor
