Key Responsibilities of a Receptionist at Momentum Health Solutions

Front Desk & Visitor Management

  • Welcome all visitors warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Determine the reason for the visit and direct guests to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Maintain security protocols by registering guests, issuing security badges, and monitoring visitor access.

Telephone & Communication Handling

  • Answer calls promptly with a friendly and professional tone.
  • Screen and route incoming calls efficiently to the correct departments.
  • Provide general information regarding Momentum Health Solutions to callers when required.
  • Take accurate messages and ensure timely communication.

Administrative & Office Support

  • Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and rescheduling when needed.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of invoices and proposals.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: National Senior Certificate (Matric) is mandatory.
  • Additional Qualification: A diploma in Office Administration or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of customer service or front desk experience (healthcare experience preferred).
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365).
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and at least one other South African language.
