Minimum Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background:
    • Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
    • Relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Experience:
    • 3–5 years of proven sales experience in the service industry.
    • Demonstrable ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Ability to interpret customer needs effectively.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Fully computer literate and adept with CRM systems.
    • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Additional Requirements:

    • Willingness to make personal sacrifices to meet critical deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Pipeline Management

  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline in CRM to forecast and plan CAPEX effectively.
  • Ensure sales targets are consistently achieved through proactive engagement with potential clients.

2. Strategic Account Acquisition

  • Formulate comprehensive acquisition strategies for target accounts to secure profitable deals.
  • Conduct thorough market research to align Servest’s offerings with client needs.

3. Market Insights and Competitive Analysis

  • Monitor customer trends and competitor activities to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance Servest’s value propositions.

4. Proposal and Contract Management

  • Prepare professional, tailored proposals that address client requirements comprehensively.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with SLA and legislative frameworks.
  • Manage contract administration meticulously, recording all activity in Servest’s CRM system.

5. Handover and Customer Retention

  • Oversee the seamless transition of new business to operational teams to uphold service excellence.
