The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Internal Audit Division. If you’re passionate about administration, organization, and working in a professional environment, this is the opportunity for you.
🧾 Job Purpose
As an Administrative Assistant at SITA, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Professional Technical Audit Services sub-division. Your role will ensure seamless day-to-day operations, efficient correspondence management, and executive-level support.

🔑 Key Responsibilities : SITA
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and ensure proper record-keeping.
- Compile and distribute meeting minutes, reports, presentations, and internal communications.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- Handle travel arrangements, including flight and accommodation bookings in line with company policy.
- Assist with departmental budget management and documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of documents submitted for managerial approval.
- Provide general clerical support and office management.
📚 Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
- Completion of a short course (less than one year) at NQF Level 4.
- Certificate in MS Office is advantageous.
- 1–2 years’ administrative experience in a corporate or government environment.
💡 Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- Solid understanding of administrative systems, filing, and data management.
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and office equipment usage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Business and report writing skills.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
⭐ Preferred Experience
- Previous experience supporting executives or senior managers in the audit or legal field.
- Exposure to working in audit or law firms is a definite plus.
