Tiger Brands is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Administration Clerk to join its quality management team. This role is crucial in ensuring that finished goods meet quality and food safety specifications before release. The successful candidate will also handle administrative functions related to purchasing, contract management, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities : Tiger Brands Administration Clerk

1. Ensuring Traceability and Stock Release

  • Maintain accurate records of finished goods, ensuring they meet regulatory standards before distribution.
  • Track inventory movement and maintain data integrity for audit compliance.
  • Work closely with warehouse teams to validate stock release protocols.

2. Purchasing Process Administration

  • Raise time-sensitive purchase orders to facilitate quality testing and inspection processes.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines and vendor management policies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to maintain a steady supply of quality-assured materials.

3. Service Provider Contract Management

  • Administer contracts with quality service providers.
  • Maintain an updated database of suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure service providers meet contractual obligations and quality standards.

4. Receipting and Goods Receipt Note (GRN) Management

  • Process receipts and GRNs for qualityrelated purchases.
  • Verify invoices against approved purchase orders.
  • Liaise with finance and procurement teams for payment processing.

5. Quality Supplier & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between quality suppliers and internal teams.
  • Communicate test results, non-conformities, and corrective actions to relevant departments.
  • Provide timely updates on stock quality and regulatory compliance.

6. Monitoring of Finished Goods in Warehouse

  • Conduct quality checks on stored products.
  • Report any deviations from food safety protocols.
  • Implement corrective measures to maintain compliance.

7. Non-Conformance Handling

  • Identify and document non-conforming materials and finished products.
  • Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain a log of recurring quality issues and propose solutions.

8. Management of Aflatoxin Testing Results

  • Ensure regular aflatoxin testing of relevant materials.
  • Document and interpret test results to ensure compliance.
  • Implement strategies to mitigate aflatoxin contamination risks.

9. Continuous Improvement in Quality Management

  • Proactively suggest and implement process improvements in quality assurance.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify areas needing enhancement.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry best practices and regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills : Tiger Brands Administration Clerk
