REQUIREMENTS:

– Proficiency in English

– Availability and flexibility to work various shifts

– Relevant work experience in a similar environment is advantageous

– Basic computer literacy

– Demonstrated self

-discipline in terms of attendance, dress code adherence, hygiene, and punctuality

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Greeting, smiling, and acknowledging customers

– Displaying a friendly and helpful attitude while serving customers

– Offering available services to customers (e.g., utility bill payments and airtime)

– Meeting customers’ needs and expectations by inquiring, listening, and advising on available options/services/products

– Providing alternatives to customers if a product is unavailable

– Efficiently and effectively processing till transactions in accordance with policies and procedures

– Scanning and packing efficiently at till points and checking all payments for irregularities

– Understanding and promoting different payment or transaction methods

– Maintaining cold chain and hygiene standards while restocking the sales floor

– Ensuring that stockroom inventory is represented on the sales floor

– Demonstrating product knowledge by highlighting features and benefits in their department

– Having appropriate product knowledge to advise customers based on their lifestyle and segmentation
