Requirements:
– Qualification enabling registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse.
– Current proof of registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse.
Duties:
– Ensuring safe and effective clinical nursing practice.
– Managing quality Nursing Service effectively.
– Mentoring Enrolled Nursing Assistants.
– Upholding and maintaining Nursing standards.
– Facilitating effective communication within the health setting.
– Optimizing Human and material resources utilization.
– Demonstrating basic understanding of nursing procedures and the legislative framework.
– Upholding national core standards.
– Maintaining Ethical Standards.
– Assisting professional nurse with clinical procedures.
– Implementing Infection Control and Waste management practices.
– Operating relevant apparatus and equipment for patient care.
– Having knowledge of Ideal Hospital Realization Framework.
